How many people can you accommodate?

Our ballroom can comfortably accommodate 350 guests. We also offer plenty of off-street parking for your guests.
 

What vendors can we use?

Fernwood Gardens Ballroom has hosted hundreds of weddings over the past 50 years and worked with numerous vendors.

Each client receives a Event Planning Guide, which includes a list of our recommended vendors to help make the planning process as easy as possible.
 

When can we set up for our event?

Because we typically host one wedding each weekend, we provide you with flexibility to set up at your leisure.

You can arrange to drop off decoration or supplies the week of your event.

​Typically, couples can begin setting up around noon on Friday.

​On Saturday, the ballroom will be open for final set up in the morning, if needed.

Fernwood Gardens Ballroom is located in the heart of Door County. Our address is 5890 WI-57, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235.

​We are a short drive to downtown Jacksonport and a 20 minute drive to Sturgeon Bay.

Fernwood Gardens Ballroom is located in the heart of Door County near Jacksonport. This "quiet" side of the county includes a variety of great opportunity for couples and guests to enjoy during their wedding weekend, including: 

Cave Point County Park: Picturesque shoreline cliffs along Lake Michigan. Features: hiking trails, beaches, picnic tables, grills, and restrooms. This also makes for a beautiful spot for wedding photos!
 

Whitefish Dunes State Park: Beautiful sand beach, hiking trails, picnic area, and groomed cross country ski trails in winter.
 

Lakeside Park: Located in downtown Jacksonport, this park includes sand beach, boat ramp, children’s play area, 2 covered picnic shelters, charcoal grills, restrooms.
 

Peninsula Kayak Company: Visit caves, towering bluffs, islands and more on guided kayak tours. Rent kayaks, paddle boards, and electric bikes to explore Door County on your own. Volleyball court, fire pit, and gifts available at the Jacksonport location.
